Graphing the quadratic y = a(x-h)2+k

Please be patient! On some machines the graph may take a short time to appear.
  • On the left you will see a graph of
     a(x-h)2 + k.
     
  • Below the graph you will find three sliders. These sliders will control the values of the coefficients a, h, and k.
     
  • Move a slider to see how varying one of the coefficients changes the graph. 
     
  • Experiment to see how the graph changes as you alter more than one coefficient at a time!
